midfielder during this transfer window and Fabregas is one of his top
targets.
United had an initial £25 million bid snubbed by Barca last week but it
appears that an improved offer has now been made on Saturday as they
look to test the Spanish champions' resolve to keep the player they
signed from Arsenal in summer 2011.
It will be interesting to see how Barcelona react to this fresh offer
following the club's vice president Josep Maria Bartomeu insisting on
Friday that Fabregas is going nowhere.
He told Spanish daily Sport: "Barcelona can assure you we will not
entertain any offers for Cesc. It is totally ruled out, he's not for
sale."
